How to do it on Windows

Protected video surfaces, GPU overlays or certain fullscreen modes can prevent ordinary desktop capture. Before changing capture or export settings, save any important existing work and check the Windows notification area for a running Greenshot process.

2. Step 2. Switch the problem app from exclusive fullscreen to windowed mode if appropriate.

How to verify the result

Normal desktop content should capture even if a protected app remains blank. Check the actual image file or open capture result instead of relying only on a successful shortcut animation. If the expected output is missing, repeat the task with a known local folder and the tray-menu command.
